The first year of a baby goes by so incredibly fast! By the time the mothers feel that they have time to spend with their little ones, the babies are all grown up, ready to start walking and exploring the world on their own.

So what are the big milestones to expect during a baby's first year? Here's a quick overview:

Newborn

Those first few weeks are irreplaceable. You'll want to soak in every tiny yawn, wrinkly foot, and sleepy snuggle. Newborn sessions aim to capture all those delicate details before they're gone forever.

3 Months

Around this age, babies start becoming more interactive and responsive. You'll see those first deep belly laughs and big gummy smiles in response to your silly faces and games. Their little personalities really start shining!

 6 Months

Sitting, rolling, grabbing toys - the skills start rolling in quickly after the 6-month mark. Babies this age love to play and will squeal with delight as you make squeaky sounds or read a fun book together.

9 Months

Get ready, because your babe will likely be on the move! You'll be chasing them as they start crawling, pulling up to stand, and cruising around any furniture they can hold on to. Their curiosity is endless.

12 Months

Congratulations, you made it to the one-year milestone! Your baby may be taking their first steps, waving bye-bye, and keeping you constantly on your toes. Time to celebrate with a healthy smash cake and some adorable and messy first birthday photos!

Once babies hit that 6-9 month window and become interactive little buddies, we can have so much fun!

Expect me to have games, books, and toys on hand to prompt gigantic grins and unstaged moments of pure joy. I'll give prompts to get those sweet face-scrunching laughs while keeping things pressure-free.

I absolutely love capturing those first milestones like sitting, crawling and cruising. We'll setup an inviting path for your baby, so they'll be inspired to show off their new skills.
